DescriptionSalt-glazed stoneware storage jar or crock: three gallon capacity, semi-ovoid shape, straight-sided at base, bulges outward above the waist; two u-shaped applied handles, accented with cobalt-blue decoration; tooled decorative lines at base of neck; wide, overhanging rim; stamped numeral below neckline; free-hand brushed cobalt design has cursive year; framed by a fern-like vine arrangement.Dimensions13 x 9 in.
