DescriptionSalt-glazed stoneware crock or storage jar: tall, broad, very bold semi-ovoid shape, with large applied moulded handles at shoulder; tall neck with flaring overhanging rim; impressed numeral near top inside dotted circle; bold free-hand brushwork decoration in cobalt blue features three large dangling tulip-like flowers, with multi-leaved vines, above a cursive numeral; light Albany-slip coating inside the potDimensions13.25 x 9.25 x 8 in.
