DescriptionVery bulbous stoneware jug, early appearance, smooth sides, light buff color; very large pulled handle attaches at neck and shoulder of vessel; heavy bolster at mouth opening; light coating of Albany slip inside; freehand-brushed tulip flower design has been faded somewhat, and blistered during fiing, along with most of the glaze in the upper section of the jug; also has a cursive numeral applied in cobalt at waistline.Dimensions13.5 x 9 in. (34.3 x 22.9 cm)
