DescriptionSalt-glazed stoneware crock: very early-appearing form; ovoid shape, with relatively narrow base; wide rim with slightly undercut rim; decorative incised line at shoulder; thin pulled handles; very heavy glazing, with considerable orange peel texture; very heavy and bold three-blossom fuschia or tulip flower cobalt-slip decoration, attached to a common stem, also cursive numeral; light albany-slip coated interior; base is un-glazed.Dimensions12.5 x 10.625 x 10.75 in.
