DescriptionOil painting on a rectangular canvas with uneven edges. The canvas is coated with a light tan gesso, "framing" the composition. The upper and lower edges of the gessoed canvas are wider than the sides. The oil paint hues include: orange, yellow, red, pink, light purple, purple, dark purple, light blue, blue, dark blue, green, teal, and white. The composition is a combination of abstract and rough rectangular shapes arranged in a horizontal pattern. The lower half of the composition is comprised of mainly darker colors, with a section of light and dark purple in the lower proper left corner, and a section of dark blue, light blue, yellow, and orange in the lower proper right corner. The upper half of the composition is mainly light colors, with a section of light purple, orange, and pink in the upper proper left corner, and a section of pink, yellow, light purple, and light blue in the upper proper right corner. A large section of light purple, pink, and white overlayed with light blue is in the center of the composition, with a section of orange, green, red, and teal directly above it. There are streaks of blue and purple, along with a patch of pink, present on the proper left of the gessoed lower edge. There are two dark blue streaks on the proper left of the upper gessoed edge. The streaks on both edges appear to have been applied by dragging a fingertip along the gessoed canvas.Dimensions20.9842 x 21.6141 in. (53.3 x 54.9 cm)
