BiographyGood Samaritan Chapel was located at Penn Avenue and 14th Street in in the Strip District. On March 21, 1935 St. Patrick's Church burned down and parishioners needed a place to worship. Two months later Good Samaritan Chapel was dedicated three blocks away from the site of St. Patrick's Church. The Reverend James Cox was a pastor at the chapel. The building was sold to The Buncher Company in 1991 and was torn down in 1997.
