Good Samaritan Chapel

Good Samaritan Chapel was located at Penn Avenue and 14th Street in in the Strip District. On March 21, 1935 St. Patrick's Church burned down and parishioners needed a place to worship. Two months later Good Samaritan Chapel was dedicated three blocks away from the site of St. Patrick's Church. The Reverend James Cox was a pastor at the chapel. The building was sold to The Buncher Company in 1991 and was torn down in 1997.
