Lynda L. Ellis

Lynda Ellis (born Lynda Boscia) grew up in Greenfield on Haldane Street. She attended St. Rosalia’s church and school. Her mother was Stella Weryha Boscia and her father was Louis C. Boscia. Her maternal grandparents came from the Ukraine. Her Grandfather "Jedo" was Andrew Weryha. He taught her Pysanky. Her Grandmother "Bubba" was Mary Weryha. Lynda made traditional eggs all the time – she did them in a variety of sizes – goose eggs, duck eggs, chicken eggs – and got good enough to sell them at craft shows and fairs.
