DescriptionGAR souvenir badge. The top portion of the medal is in the shape of a bear walking to the left across a log. Across the bear's side is commemorative text. The bottom section of the medal, which hangs from the log, has a central upside-down star, which is centered around a seal depicting two soldiers, flanked by flags on either side, shaking hands over a seated woman and standing child, with a third figure standing in the center of the background. Surrounding the seal are the five points of the star, each of which contain a small image: an anchor, crossed sabres, crossed rifles, a horn, and crossed oars. The circle surrounding the star has event information.Dimensions2 x 3 in. (5.1 x 7.6 cm)InscriptionsAcross the bear's side is the word "SOUVENIR".
