DescriptionPoker dice set with five off-white celluloid(?) dice and paper board case. Each die has rounded corners and six faces. Each face features a different image representing a poker card. One side has a red heart, one side has a black King, one side has a blue Queen, one side has a colorless (may have been green) Jack, one side has ten red hearts, and one side has nine red hearts. Blue rectangular paperboard box with lid that is attached along the back edge and folds over the front edge. Box has metal latch at front center that secures the lid shut. The box is lined with beige satin fabric.DimensionsParts a-e: Height 0.625, Width 0.625, Depth 0.625;

Historical NotesPart of a collection related to Aaronel deRoy Gruber and her husband Irving B. Gruber. Irving Gruber loved poker. In the 1950s, he started a poker group and the men played every Monday night. These dice were used in these poker matches. Donor Terry Gruber is the son of Aaronel deRoy Gruber and Irving Gruber.
