With a motto, “Lifting as We Climb,” the Aurora Reading Club are well read, culturally active and inspire one-another and the public to seek new paths of civic and cultural opportunity. Twenty-four members of the Club made quilt blocks representing the members individual perspectives on life and culture. In 1998, Mary Page was the president of the Club and guided the completion of the quilt.
