DescriptionGray lightweight commemorative. Flat base with vertical top section, which is shaped like two vertical rectangles pressed against one another that are slightly off site from one another. On one side there is a white and red coin pressed into the center, with text above coin, and at the top of the commemorative. Coin has a symbol in the center that has two crossed swords behind a shield, with two wings attached to the tops of the two swords. Two snakes intertwined through the center. Four symbols surround this center symbol. Red text at the top and at the bottom of the coin. On the obverse side, there is an element in the shape of the country of Iraq featuring red, white, and black block colors and black text through the white center section. DimensionsHeight x Width x Depth: 6.875 x 3.625 x 3.938 in. (17.5 x 9.2 x 10 cm)
InscriptionsText across the top of the commemorative reads: "IRAQ". Text directly above the coin reads: "OPERATION NEW DAWN".

Coin reads: "257th Dental Co(AS). Text in the lower section reads: "OIF / OND 10-11 / DRACOS DENS MEDICUS".
