Black rectangular plasticized paperboard box with clamshell lid. Lid exterior has background graphic comprised of American flag and gray pixelated camouflage uniform with U.S. Army logo at center. Exterior sides have yellow text and white stars. Interior of lid has black, yellow, and white details include the U.S. Army logo, white text, and stars. Bottom of box has integral insert with same background graphic as the lid exterior. Bottom insert has triangular opening at center to hold folded American flag, a pinhole at left center to hold the solder pin, and an adhered retired soldier sticker decal that was possibly originally removable. U.S. Army retirement American flag. Flag is folded in a triangular shape with the visible portions comprised of navy blue background fabric and white embroidered stars. U.S. Army retired soldier pin. Pin is rectangular brass and enamel. Front of pin has black, white, and gold details including a star at center. Pin has brass clutch back fastener. Pin pierces center of folded red, white, and blue plastic ribbon. U.S. Army retired sticker decal. Rectangular sticker with white background. Front is white, black, and yellow with star at center. White backing paper. U.S. Army retirement letter. Rectangular white sheet of paper. Front has three flags along top and black printed text at center with three printed signatures along bottom.
