DescriptionCornflower blue and gold ribbon badge. Pin attachment is a gold bar with organizational acronym. Ribbon has gold embossed decoration. From top: a horizontal gold bar with stars, under which is text. Under the inscription is the image of the insignia of the Grand Army of the Republic: the eagle with wings outstretched and two crossed cannons above an applied American flag ribbon, and the upside down star with the seal of the G.A.R. (men shaking hands in front of a third figure, with woman and child seated on ground), which has organizational information. Beneath the image is text.
