DescriptionRibbon badge pin with enamel, ribbon, and metal decoration. Main body of ribbon has three vertical stripes or red, off-white, and blue, and copper wire-wrapped fringe along the bottom. The top of the pin features an ivory-colored enamel piece with the image of two shaking hands. The piece has a stylized metal border. Below this piece are two ribbons, one red, white, and blue, and the other off-white. The off-white ribbon lays overtop of the larger, multi-colored ribbon. It has two "waving" American flags made out of rippled ribbon sewn on to create a cascading effect. The crossed poles of the flags are embossed onto the ribbon in silver. At the bottom of this first ribbon is a circular enameled badge. At the center of the badge is the image of a Grand Army of the Republic medal (eagle and cannons attached to a flag ribbon, with the seal and upside-down star of the G.A.R.). The badge has organizational name split on either side of the image. Below the badge, the larger ribbon has text embossed in silver. At the bottom of the reverse side of the ribbon is an attached piece of cardstock with the manufacturer's patent information.Dimensions2.875 x 9.25 in.
