DescriptionBronze-toned pin attached to a silver political token. Pin shows an eagle perched on two crossed cannons and a sword, which are resting on a group of cannon balls. Pin is attached to token by a metal ring. Token has rasied image of man in center facing proper right, and is surrounded by text. On reverse side, near the top, is a image with a circle and two crutches crossed, which is also surrounded by text.DimensionsHeight x Width: 1.875 × 1.563 in. (4.8 × 4 cm)
Inscriptionsa sword, which are resting on a group of cannon balls. Pin is attached to token by a metal ring. Token has image of man in center facing proper right. To the left of the image reads: "GEN JAMES". To the right of the image reads: "A. BEAVER". Below image reads: "1882". On reverse side, near the top, is a image with a circle and two crutches crossed. Above the crossed crutches reads: "AUG. 25". To the left of the crutches reads: "18" and to the right of the crutches reads: "64". Below the image of the crutches is a three leaf clover; the top leaf says "2", the left leave reads: "A", and the right leave reads: "C". Below this reads: "THE / ONLY MEDAL HE WEARS, / WON AT REAMS STATION".
