InscriptionsIn middle is image of man facing proper right. To the left of image reads: "GEN. JAMES". To the right of image reads: "A. BEAVER." Under image reads "1882". On reverse side, near the top, is a image with a circle and two crutches crossed. Above the crossed crutches reads: "AUG. 25". To the left of the crutches reads: "18" and to the right of the crutches reads: "64". Below the image of the crutches is a three leaf clover; the top leaf says "2", the left leave reads: "A", and the right leave reads: "C". Below this reads: "THE / ONLY MEDAL HE WEARS, / WON AT REAMS STATION".
