DescriptionYellow ribbon with medals. Top piece: embossed image of an eagle with spread wings, claws gripping two crossed cannons above group of cannonballs. Attached via two loops is an embossed bronze piece with red, white and blue enamel text. Connected to bottom edge via two chains is a pewter medal with an embossed image of a city with a mountain in background; text on top and below image. Maker's mark on reverse. Attached via one loop on bottom edge is a circular bronze medal with an embossed bust of male looking to the left, wearing a suit and a long mustache; text around edge and to left of image. Bottom medal has text around edge, "FORTY-SEVENTH NATIONAL ENCAMPMENT G.A.R. SEPTEMBER 15-20"; to left of image, "1913".
