Historical NotesLetterman jacket worn by the donor, Matthew "Sarge" Trcic, when he played football for Scott High School in 1965. Coached by the legendary Fran Rogel, the team went undefeated in section play and 6-2 for the season, but lacked the points necessary to qualify for the WPIAL playoffs. Trcic, who played offensive and defensive tackle, later competed in sandlot football in Braddock and for the Tri-Boro Tigers. The jacket, with accompanying yearbook, photos, and program, documents high school sports and the playoff system used by the WPIAL in the mid-1960s.
