Historical NotesAlexander Conrad bought the former Eberhard & Williams factory on Ford Street in New Geneva in 1870. In 1882, he sold the pottery to Charles W. Williams, and moved to Shinnston, West Virginia. The firm was also known as "New Geneva Pottery", "Lion Pottery" and "Monongahela Pottery". Part of a collection of stoneware from local manufacturers in the Western Pennsylvania region.
