Historical NotesUnited Black Front Satellites Tri-Boro League Softball team uniform used by Mildred Martin Allen (1924-2003). Mildred Martin Allen played and coached the Satellites softball team (1960-1976) and was commissioner of the Tri-Boro League. This uniform with “United Black Front” on the front and "Satellites" on the back indicates the sponsorship of a community team by a black cultural nationalist organization. Donor Beatrice Harper is the daughter of Mildred Martin Allen.
