Historical NotesWorn by Eli Bratich when he was a Junior Tambouritzan in Midland, PA in the 1970s. He also played the prim, a stringed instrument with a higher pitch than a guitar. The costume came from Europe. The trousers have another person's's name in them because they switched parts as the children grew. Children began singing, dancing and playing as Tambouritzans at age five until they graduated from high school.
