Historical NotesMade for Vittoria Iannotta by her daughter, donor Jane Ferro. Vittoria, an Italian immigrant who settled in Pittsburgh, was illiterate. Her daughter wanted her to be able to call people so she put pictures in place of people's names next to their telephone numbers.
