Rectangular white enameled metal upright freezer with rounded top corners. Door opens on front with two hinges along the proper left side. Front of door has chrome metal horizontal pull handle above viewer's left center that is mounted atop horizontal gold and blue plastic design feature with dotted surface and Freez-File at the viewer's right end. Back has two black metal panels, one in bottom proper right corner with oval bump-out at center, and one along proper left side that is convex
Interior of door is baby blue enameled steel with four rectangular recesses and a smaller trapezoidal recess at top center. Interior of freezer body has baby blue enameled steel perimeter with temperature control knob at top center. Interior of freezer body has four freezer sections; the top three have white and chrome pull-down doors and the bottom is a drawer; each section's front is white with metallic blue dimpled top section; each also has white and chrome/gold maker logo in the viewer's top left corner and blue text on each off-white handle. Inside second freezer section from top is a solid shelf and wire shelf and inside third freezer section from top is wire shelf.

Historical NotesWestinghouse Electric Corporation Freez-File upright freezer designed by Peter Muller-Munk Associates. Phil Wittenberg of New Castle, Pennsylvania purchased his home with this freezer in the basement. Acquired by the Carnegie Museum of Art and exhibited in their 2015 exhibit "Silver to Steel: The Modern Designs of Peter Muller-Munk."
