Historical NotesThis campaign button is part of a larger political collection collected by Dorothy Larson. This campaign button was from the 2004 presidential election. Candidates for the Republican Party were George W. Bush with Dick Cheney as his running mate, and the candidates for the Democratic Party were John Kerry and his running mate John Edwards; Bush won the election. The donor Denis Attenburger's mother-in-law, Dorothy Larson, was a delegate for the State of Pennsylvania at the Republican National Convention in 1976, 1980, and 1984. She supported numerous Republican candidates and causes, which are reflected in the various pins and campaign materials she collected.
