Historical NotesThis campaign button is part of a larger political collection collected by Dorothy Larson. The button features George Washington, George H.W. Bush, and George W. Bush. They were the first, 41st, and 43rd presidents of the United States. George W. Bush first ran in the 2000 presidential election and served two terms from 2001-2009. The donor Denis Attenburger's mother-in-law, Dorothy Larson, was a delegate for the State of Pennsylvania at the Republican National Convention in 1976, 1980, and 1984. She supported numerous Republican candidates and causes, which are reflected in the various pins and campaign materials she collected.
