Historical NotesThis button is part of a larger political collection collected by Dorothy Larson. George H.W. Bush ran for his second term in 1992 with his vice president, Dan Quayle. Bush lost to Bill Clinton and his running mate, Al Gore; Bush served one term from 1989 to 1993. The donor Denis Attenburger's mother-in-law, Dorothy Larson, was a delegate for the State of Pennsylvania at the Republican National Convention in 1976, 1980, and 1984. She supported numerous Republican candidates and causes, which are reflected in the various pins and campaign materials she collected.
