DescriptionSchool membership ribbon. Silk fabric ribbon is divided vertically into three color fields, from viewer's left to right: red, white, and blue. Front has gold decoration and text, from top to bottom: star, crossed American flags, eagle emblem, painted text, band of geometric symbols, and handwritten date in ink. Bottom of ribbon has gold metallic trim and coiled fringe. Top of ribbon is folded over and has horizontal stitching.DimensionsHeight x Width x Depth (Actual ribbon): 8.125 x 2.5 x 0.125 in. InscriptionsFront of ribbon has gold text on bottom half "SEVENTH WARD / PUBLIC SCHOOL / ALLEGHENY, PA." and handwritten in black ink at the bottom "1908".
