DescriptionMilitary dress uniform tailcoat. Blue-gray wool fabric. Triple-breasted with three columns of brass buttons; left and right columns are slightly arched. Stand-up collar with rectangular black fabric with gold fabric trim with one button on each end and two hook-and-eye fasteners at front opening. Each cuff has black fabric section with four rectangular gold fabric trim sections each with one brass button; bottommost button missing on bottom proper right cuff. Each tail's exterior edge has black fabric section with four rectangular gold fabric trim sections each with one brass button. Each tail has black fabric along left and right sides and gold embroidered and sequinned horn at bottom. Interior of body is lined with beige fabric and tails are lined with black fabric. Inside proper left front panel is pocket. Each button is brass, circular, domed shank buttons and each has the Pennsylvania coat of arms on the front.
