Historical NotesAn Alcoa aluminum Fizz-Whiz bottle cap. The Fizz-Whiz cap was originally patented in 1955 by its inventor Philip B. Keller. They were made of anodized aluminum with a rubber center. It seems that they retailed in the 1970s and 1980s and were often used as giveaways and company promotions.
