Historical NotesCase of Cream Beer found in the barn of donor Tom Lawrence's wife's grandfather. Tube City Brewing opened in McKeesport 1933 and closed in 1955. The brewery was located on Walnut Street. The building was demolished over twenty years later. The glass bottles were molded by the Owens-Illinois Glass Company. The number "3" in the maker's mark represents the Fairmont, West Virginia plant. All of the bottles are the same, except for the serial numbers, which vary from bottle to bottle.
