DescriptionColorless, pressed glass wine glass with painted text and pictures. Painted Shriner's emblem with golden gate used as the stem. Text on both sides with the symbols from the Pennsylvania and California flags. The bottom of the stem has text on both sides as well.DimensionsHeight x Diameter: 5.125 × 2.4375 in. (13 × 6.2 cm)
InscriptionsOne side of the goblet has the Pennsylvania crest from the flag and underneath its says "SYRIA TEMPLE".

On the other side of the goblet is the bear icon from the California state flag and underneath it says "JUNE 10TH 1902".

On the bottom of the stem, the side with the Pennsylvania crests says "PITTSBURG, PA" and the California side says "SAN FRANCISCO 1902".
Historical NotesThis wine glass was commissioned by the Syria Temple to commemorate the Imperial Shine Session held on June 10th 1902 in San Francisco, California. The Temple had a different glass made to mark the location of each year's convention. It was made by Westmoreland Glass Company.
