Historical NotesAmerican Astronautical Society Neil Armstrong Space Flight Achievement Award for 1997 plaque awarded to members of the STS-79 crew. The Neil Armstrong Space Flight Achievement Award is given annually for outstanding achievements as a crew, crew member, or team. This was one of two AAS Neil Armstrong awards given to crews on which Apt served, the other being awarded in 1992 to the STS-37 crew.
