Historical NotesPurchased at Kaufmann's Vondome Room by Virginia K. Daugherty to wear to a Shadyside Academy Alumni Ball at the Pittsburgh Golf Club in 1963. Fashion label started by Herbert Sondeim in 1930. His clothes were sold to only a select few stores. He was the father of composer Stephen Sondheim.
