InscriptionsFront buttons have "FIRE / PITTSBURGH / BUREAU" engraved on them.

There are also three small silver buttons at each cuff and each have a crest with "PFB" engraved in the middle.
MarksA dark green label is attached to the pocket on the proper right side and has "KAUFMANN'S / FIFTH AVENUE, PITTSBURGH" embroidered in gold thread.

The proper left arm has "4FI 317 M / 2IE 317 B / 2FV 317 C" printed in black.

The proper right arm has "3ZE K70 H / 3ZE 418 H" stamped in black.
Historical NotesPart of a collection belonging to Bernie Burns. The collection documents Firefighters Local No. 1, the firefighting union of which Bernie Burns was the president; his life as a firefighter; and additional items that document growing up in Lawrenceville in the 1960s and 1970s.
