Historical NotesGolf equipment used by Carol Semple Thompson, who has won seven United States Golf Association championships and is one of the most successful amateur women's golfers in the last half century. This leather golf bag was given to Thompson when she played in the 1994 Curtis Cup championship. In all, Carol has been a member of twelve Curtis Cup teams, beginning with the 1974 championship.
