DescriptionPolitical badge consisting of a rectangular metal pin attached to green and orange ribbon with gold-tone token. Rectangular pin at top has small circle in the center with the embossed profile image of George Washington, and token features relief of Daniel H. Hastings with embossed text on front of token. Reverse side features a relief of the coat of arms of Pennsylvania outlined by a PA keystone.DimensionsHeight x Width: 2.813 × 1.438 in. (7.1 × 3.7 cm)
InscriptionsTo the left of the image, printed along the edge of the circle, reads: "GENL. D. H." To the right of the image along the edge reads: "HASTINGS". On reverse side, along the left side of the keystone reads: "JAN. 15,", and on the right side of the keystone reads: "1895". Along the top edge of the token, starting on the left-hand side and finishing on the right, reads: "INAUGURATED GOVERNOR OF PENNSYLVANIA".
