Around the edge on the reverse side of token, starting at the top left, reads: "ELECTED NOV. 7 1882." Starting in the lower left section and continuing along bottom reads: "INAUGURATED JAN 16, 1883."
On reverse side, below the coat of In center on reverse side is coat of arms of PA. Below this reads: GOVERNOR / OF / PENNSYLVANIA".
