DescriptionArch shaped mirror with walnut frame. Frame has intricate carved design at top, center of design is carved fruit and nuts, each side has carved scroll designs from top to bottom, with three candle stands (total of six) dispersed in between.

(176.5 x 124.5 x 22.9 cm)Historical NotesPurportedly from the room used by Abraham Lincoln during his stay at the Monongahela House hotel in 1861. Following the demolition of the Monongahela House, it was acquired by Allegheny County and displayed in a "museum" at South Park in the 1930's. This piece, along with other furniture, was rediscovered at South Park in 2007.
