The front of the binder has airline logo that includes American flag and description of contents; the spine of the manual has the same information. Pocket flaps inside the front and back cover. InscriptionsWhite lettering on the front of the binder reads: "[logo of American flag] U [dot] S AIRWAYS / [line] / Flight Attendant / Emergency Manual"; the spine of the manual has the identical words.
Historical NotesThe binder/manual belonged to Dennis Lapushansky who worked as a flight attendant for USAir / US Airways from 1979 until his retirement in 2005. The manual was to be carried at all times and had to be up to date because the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) inspectors could inspect it at any time.
