Label TextWooden crate and eleven bottles of Bridgeport Rye. Phillip Hamburger emigrated from Germany in 1867 and settled in Pittsburgh and then opened a distillery in Brownsville where he produced Bridgeport Rye. The rye in these eleven bottles was distilled in 1916 but was not bottled until 1924, after the time of prohibition.
