Below cards is an envelope with penciled handwriting on front. Attached to envelope via scotch tape are a set of rosaries with black beads. Handwritten on main paper is eminent figure information. Historical NotesAssemblage of articles belonging to and honoring Joseph R. Tomaino, who served in the Pacific during WWII and was on the U.S.S. Vincennes when it sunk in the battle of Savo Island. Upon leaving the service he taught refrigeration in the Pittsburgh area and was also a key organizer of the Marine Corp Youth Fitness League. Donor Jeanne Flaherty was a neighbor of Tamaino.
