Object given to the donor Margaret Dury by Cynthia Laughlin, daughter of Margaret C.P. Laughlin and John Z.S. Laughlin, who lived across the street from donor in Edgeworth. Margaret C.P. Laughlin was the granddaughter of Thomas Carnegie (1843-1886), an instrumental executive in the Carnegie steel empire and only brother of Andrew Carnegie.
