Historical NotesMary Anne Novack wore this gown to the 1960 St. Thomas High School Prom when she was a Junior. Her date was John Groggins (or Goggins) of Homestead. After the prom they went to the Holiday House, a night club in Monroeville that featured entertainment in a dinner setting, and was a popular after-Prom sight during the 1960s. After high school, Mary Anne trained as a nurse at Pittsburgh hospital; her married name is Thomas.
