Historical NotesBeer glass is part of a collection from the independent, heavy-metal inspired coffee shop, art gallery, and performance space Black Forge Coffee House started by Ashley Corts in Pittsburgh’s Allentown neighborhood in 2015, which expanded later to a include a larger location in McKeesport. Corts found inspiration to open her own coffee shop from the Beehive Coffeehouse and used heavy-metal music to shape the underlying theme and attitude of the place.
