DescriptionLong, flat elongated oval emery board or nail file. Viewer's left end is slightly wider and tapers to slightly narrower viewer's right end. Each side has adhered fine-grained mineral (emery) making each surface rough. Front has three color fields, from viewer's left to right: baby blue, white, and red; each has printed black campaign message and bottom center of white field has union label. Historical NotesFrank Gottlieb was a journalist who worked for many Western Pennsylvania media outlets, particularly radio. Gottlieb was born in Midland, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Duquesne University in 1968 with a degree in print journalism. Frank Gottlieb joined the newsroom of KQV in 1985 and served as its news director from 1993 until his retirement. After returning from Vietnam, Gottlieb worked in various capacities for radio and television stations in Western Pennsylvania and Central Ohio, including WAMO-FM, WTAE-TV, KDKA-TV, and Pittsburgh CBS Local as well as WCMH-TV in Columbus, Ohio. He worked on the “Brother Love” program on WAMO and was an early employee at the interactive news station QUBE in Columbus, Ohio.
