DescriptionTwo-piece bathing suit comprised of bikini top and skirt bottom.
Bikini bathing suit top, size 13. Black fabric with black synthetic fabric (nylon?) lining. Ruffle along top edge. Gathered fabric vertically at center of chest. Two chest straps. Two neck halter straps. Elastic along bottom edge.
Skirt bathing suit bottom, size 13. Black fabric. Elastic waist. Ruffle along bottom of skirt. Seven vertical seams. Metal zipper down back opening with fabric tab at top that connects to black plastic button. Interior has blue synthetic fabric (nylon?) bikini bottom that is attached to the skirt's waist. Historical NotesPart of a collection of clothing that belonged to the donor Betsy Matijascic Ranick's mother Mary Demko Matijascic of West Aliquippa, Pennsylvania. She graduated from Aliquippa High School, was married in 1948, and continued to live in Aliquippa for a time. This bathing suit was worn during her honeymoon to Stone Harbor, New Jersey.
