According to the donor, "My parents enrolled me in tap dancing class whenever I was four years old. They wanted me to be around other children. There were only adults at home. The classes were given in a West View High School classroom. [West View High School, after the jointure that became the North Hills School District, was a Junior High and currently is an Elementary School.] It was Bob Kite's Dance School, however, my teacher was Mary Jane Tachitoff. There was always a piano player present for our practice. The Recital, was in the West View High School Auditorium." Part of a collection that documents the life of Carol Braun Kunz including dance costumes from when she was a child and took tap dance lessons at West View high school. Bob Kite ran the studio and Mary Jane Tachitoff was his assistant.
