DescriptionWatercolor painting study on rectangular off-white paper. Painting depicts a stagecoach in motion with four figures inside the coach, one driver, and one figure sitting atop the coach. A single bare black tree branch is perched above the stagecoach silhouetted against a purple, blue, and white sky. Side of stagecoach has city name painted in blue. Painted area has graphite border and surrounding white margins. Front has two strips of white linen tape along top edge. Reverse of paper has rough texture with old yellowed adhesive tape in the viewer's top left corner and two strips of white linen tape along top edge. DimensionsHeight x Width: 6.313 x 5.563 in.
