Historical NotesFROGS Club lapel pin.Label TextThe FROGS, an acronym that stands for Friendly Rivalry Often Generates Success, was formed in 1910 as a younger affiliate group of the Loendi Club. This African American male social organization hosts an annual ball that attracts members and visitors from across the country. Members often housed out-of-town guests in their homes or found accommodations for them by using the Green Book.
